Whether you’re looking for vigorous exercise, quiet contemplation, or a pleasant picnic, the Arboretum offers a beautiful natural retreat that is conveniently close to downtown Eugene and Springfield. Mount Pisgah Arboretum restores the spirit and broadens horizons. Folks come here to find peace along our quiet trails, learn about native plants from local experts, celebrate mushrooms and wildflowers at our annual festivals, and introduce children to the wonders of nature.

HOURS Mount Pisgah Arboretum is open from dawn to dusk, every day of the year.

The Arboretum administrative office is open from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

ADMISSION There is no entry fee to the Arboretum, however Lane County Parks (LCP) does require a $4 parking fee for every vehicle. This can be purchased at the yellow machine at the Summit Trailhead (on the main entrance road, uphill from the parking lot). A current LCP annual parking pass displayed in the windshield of your vehicle will also meet fee requirements. You can purchase both types of passes at our office. Not at the park during our open hours? Sign up to be an Arboretum member online, and we’ll mail your parking pass to you directly!

GROUPS Due to the popularity of the Arboretum and our scheduled educational programs it is necessary that large groups make a reservation prior to their visit. Scheduling groups prevents overcrowding on the trails during the busy season and insures that all of us have a pleasant outdoor experience.  Please contact the Arboretum office at 541-747-3817 if you plan to come out in a group larger than 10. We encourage groups larger than 10 to give a donation of $2 per person to help Mount Pisgah Arboretum offset costs related to visitor impacts to the site.
