UPDATE 2/17 – Thanks to many, many volunteers, we are able to open almost all of our trails today. Yay! Visitors are still advised to be aware of fallen trees, hanging branches, and “Trail Closed” signs as work continues to clear debris. Many thanks to those who’ve helped!

UPDATE 2/13 - The Summit Trail and Buford Park are now OPEN! Unfortunately, the Arboretum will remain closed as we continue to clear trails and remove hazardous limbs. We are on track to open a few trails this weekend.

If you are interested in volunteering, we would love the help! Either call Brad at 541-510-0562, or show up in the early afternoons in front of our green shop at the bottom of the parking lot. Skilled and unskilled hands will be very helpful. We have lots of tools, but if you have clippers, gloves, saws, or anything else that might be useful, please bring it with you.

We are also seeking a truck donation. Our mid-size pick-up was damaged, and a lot of our trail work relies on a truck like this in working condition.

Thanks so much! We look forward to happy hikers on the mountain soon!
