MPA maintains an office building, the White Oak Pavilion, restrooms, a public water system, a wooded picnic area, and a visitor center. All are open to the public and are located near the entrance to the Arboretum.

Built in 2005, the White Oak Pavillion is available for weddings, parties, and gatherings. Please visit Weddings and Rentals to find out more about renting the Pavilion or picnic area.

The Arboretum Office, completed in 2002, is situated to the southeast of the parking lot. This beautiful cedar-sided building houses Arboretum staff and administrative volunteers. Office hours are 10am – 4pm Monday through Friday.

The Arboretum Visitor Center is only opened for limited hours in parallel with events, classes and tours. The Visitor Center is the meeting place for many of our Walks and Workshops, and serves as the base camp for the spring and fall Discovery Tours for elementary school classes. Located in the south-west corner of the parking lot, the Visitor Center features native amphibian and reptile terraria, microscopes for exploring tiny seeds and bugs, tactile exhibits, reference books, and a working viewable bee hive.
